Humana is moving its pharmacy brands under the CenterWell umbrella.
Humana Pharmacy and Humana Specialty Pharmacy will now operate as CenterWell Pharmacy and CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, respectively, the insurer announced. Enclara Pharmacia and Humana Pharmacy Solutions, the company's pharmacy benefit management arm, will maintain their original branding.
“The CenterWell brand symbolizes our ongoing and strong commitment to keeping members, customers and patients at the center of everything we do,” said Scott Greenwell, Humana Pharmacy Solutions president, in a statement.
“To help the many people we serve achieve their best health, we provide holistic care that is personalized and coordinated with easy-to-use options so our customers and members can receive the care and prescriptions they need exactly when they need them.”
Humana has steadily transitioned its healthcare services segments under the CenterWell brand. It's senior-focused primary care clinics now operate within that fold, and it is moving Kindred at Home's home health services under the umbrella as well.
CenterWell Pharmacy offers personalized supports and in-home delivery, while CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy includes payer-agnostic specialty pharmacy services.
