MASON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Skilled Care Pharmacy, a provider of medication needs for residents in extended care communities in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, has named Sandra McLellan, RN, C, BS, as Executive Director of Client Services.
McLellan, certified in gerontology, will utilize her expertise in the long-term care area at Skilled Care Pharmacy. As a versatile healthcare professional, McLellan’s strengths fall within regulatory, problem solving, systems development and implementation, new program development and customer relations.
Spending most of her 35-year career advocating for the elderly in the Dayton/Cincinnati area, McLellan has experience in both hospital and long-term care facility settings. She has played numerous roles, including clinical nurse, corporate director of nursing, management consultant, surveyor for the Ohio Department of Health and nurse educator.
Prior to joining Skilled Care Pharmacy, McLellan was Vice President of Clinical Services and a member of the executive team at Remedi, formerly HealthCare Pharmacy, located in Covington, Ohio.
