Rideout Memorial Hospital and Specialists On Call Now Delivering 24/7 Emergency Telepsychiatry Service in California
Specialists On Call, Inc. (SOC), the leading provider of acute care telemedicine services, today announced that it has launched emergency services in the state of California and will provide around-the-clock emergency psychiatric on-call coverage to Rideout Memorial Hospital. This collaborative effort will provide Rideout Memorial’s critical psychiatric patients with 24/7/365 access to board certified psychiatrists.
Rideout Memorial Hospital is a 173-bed not-for-profit regional hospital serving the communities of Yuba/Sutter and surrounding counties. The system has a long history of providing advanced medical services to the region as well as offering a full continuum of care for patients.
Specialists On Call’s telepsychiatry service will add to Rideout Memorial Hospital’s clinical capabilities and provide around-the-clock access to an elite team of psychiatrists. The telepsychiatry service will respond within one hour of initial contact and help providers with any psychiatric emergency. Specialists On Call currently provides services to 19 other California hospitals, including Rideout, which is now the first medical facility to launch telepsychiatry service in the state.
