Quantros Executive Director To Present at The Joint Commission Annual Conference on Quality and Patient Safety

Dr. Ali Rashidee Will Discuss How Data Interoperability Helps Reduce Preventable Adverse Events at 2011 Conference

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Dr. Ali Rashidee MD, MS, Executive Director for Safety and Risk Management at Quantros, will deliver his presentation, “The Evolution of Common Formats for Patient Safety Event Reporting and their Impact on Reducing Preventable Adverse Events”, at the 2011 Conference on Quality and Patient Safety. It is sponsored by The Joint Commission and The Joint Commission Resources and will be held June 8-10 in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Rashidee’s presentation will feature analytical results from real-life patient safety database comprising of more than 2 million patient safety event records, and provide inputs of improving the patient safety taxonomy for meaningful usage by healthcare providers, Patient Safety Organizations and the Network of Patient Safety Databases – the federal Patient safety improvement initiative created under the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005.

Dr. Rashidee is a recognized expert on Patient Safety.
