ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Orchid Medical, a leading ancillary healthcare service company specializing in workers' compensation, announced today that Oliver Ostlander has been hired as Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology.
Ostlander, who joined Orchid in July, is responsible for the on-going development of OMNI™ (Orchid Medical Network Integration), the company’s proprietary web-based software system that helps adjusters, case managers, employers, and vendors submit and track orders via the Internet. The system can be customized to enhance the client’s business model and operational performance.
Ostlander and the Orchid Medical executive team are participating in the upcoming 66th Annual Florida Workers' Compensation Educational Conference August 21-24 in Orlando.
With over 15 years of experience in the workers’ compensation industry, Ostlander brings an extensive background in developing product intelligence, services and systems that improve business operations. “We are very excited to have Oliver join the Orchid Medical team in this important position,” said Orchid Medical President Brian Carwile. “Oliver is a highly respected executive and brings a broad skill set as Orchid Medical continues to offer customized solutions to our clients.“
Prior to joining Orchid Medical, Ostlander served as Vice President of EK Health Services and Executive Director of Operations at Coventry Health Care, where he helped support over $700 million in annual revenues. He was previously product manager at CS STARS (Marsh & McLennan Company) and product development manager at Fair Isaac.
