Cleveland Clinic, Boeing in bundled payment talks

Cleveland Clinic is exploring another bundled payment deal, this time with a major defense contractor, the CEO said Friday. Although there are limited details, the health system spokesperson confirmed that the Clinic is in discussions with Boeing, MedCity News reported. Although specifics weren't released, the article hinted that the Clinic's doctors will presumably perform heart surgeries on Boeing employees for a bundled payment, following suit with other corporate deals. The Clinic already has bundled payment arrangements with Lowe's, Kohl's, Rich Products Corporation and Alliance Oil.

"We've had significant success with this, and we've seen significant interest" Clinic CEO Toby Cosgrove said in the article. Article
