Telehealth provider Him & Hers adds all FDA-approved GLP-1s to platform

Him & Hers announced Thursday that eligible users can now access the full range of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved GLP-1 medications on its platform.

Providers can now send prescriptions of Eli Lily’s Zepbound, Mounjaro and oral Foundayo to the LillyDirect pharmacy, allowing users to access self-pay pricing. The direct-to-consumer telehealth platform began offering Wegovy pills and injections, as well as Ozempic injections, in late March.

Here’s a breakdown of the lowest monthly self-pay prices per drug, according to the telehealth company’s website:

  • Foundayo pill: From $149 per month
  • Mounjaro: $1,899 per month
  • Ozempic: From $199 per month
  • Wegovy pill: From $149 per month
  • Wegovy pen: From $199 per month
  • Zepbound vial: From $299 per month
  • Zepbound KwikPen: From $299 per month

Interested patients can check their membership eligibility on the platform.

Users can also purchase the higher 7.2-mg dose Wegovy injection, which the FDA approved March 19. The dose is also available through GoodRx for $399 per month.

“Our goal is to ensure that when Hims & Hers customers trust us with their health journey, they have access to a diverse range of treatment options alongside a comprehensive care experience,” the company said in a press release. “This is all part of giving customers more ways to start and help sustain their health journey based on their unique history, preferences, needs, and goals.”

The developments came nearly a year after Novo Nordisk announced partnerships with various telehealth companies, including Him & Hers, for high-demand weight loss drugs. Novo previously partnered with Him & Hers for selling compounded versions of semaglutide, the active ingredient in Novo’s Wegovy and Ozempic drugs.

Him & Hers is also one of the companies involved with Novo’s Wegovy subscription plan, the “first and only” of its kind that the manufacturer says could save patients up to $1,200 annually.
