  A new report from UnitedHealth Group offers federal and state policymakers across the country a roadmap to save billions of dollars over the next decade while also modernizing the Medicaid program to meet the demand of a projected 16 million new enrollees.
The report is the third in a series from the UnitedHealth Center for Health Reform & Modernization, which seeks to offer policymakers “real-world” options on how to improve the quality of care while reducing costs.
Simon Stevens, UnitedHealth Group executive vice president and director of the UnitedHealth Center for Health Reform & Modernization, presented the paper’s key findings via conference call on April 15.
