Employee-retention tip: Focus on individuality

One simple change to your employee onboarding process--emphasizing workers' individual identities over your practice's--can make a long-term impact in reducing turnover, according to a post from the Harvard Business Review. Steps that help companies shift focus to individuals include asking new hires to "think and write about who they were when they were at their best" and providing them with clothing and badges with their own names rather than the company's.
