> Long Beach, California-based Molina Healthcare has acquired the Medicaid and MIChild businesses of HealthPlus of Michigan and its subsidiary, HealthPlus Partners Inc. The plans cover nearly 100,000 consumers in Michigan. The deal should close in the third quarter of 2015. Statement
> Washington state has created an open all-payer claims database, Healthcare Payer News reported. Under the law, every insurer in the state must contribute data for all its plans, including third-party administrative clients.
