PreferredOne regroups after bailing on Minnesota HIX

For the Minnesota insurance group PreferredOne, the new year has brought two new challenges: A new CEO and the aftermath of leaving MNsure, the state's health insurance exchange. The group decided last year that providing coverage through MNsure was unsustainable, Healthcare Payer News reported, and has since decided to focus on the higher end of the individual market. This left some 30,000 MNsure customers--about 60 percent of enrollees in 2014--scrambling to find a new plan. Article
