Improving Access to Health Care (IMPACT) Grant Program Accepting 2011 Winter Applications

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Foundation (BCBSF Foundation) is now accepting proposals for the Improving Access to Health Care (IMPACT) Grant Program 2011 Winter Grant Cycle.  Deadline to apply is 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 28.  Applications will be accepted from Florida health nonprofits seeking to improve access to health care for Floridians, particularly the uninsured and underserved.

Interested Florida-based, health-serving nonprofits can log onto the BCBSF Foundation website for more information and to apply.  Grant recipients will be announced in February 2012.
