Illegal immigrants are afraid to register their U.S.-born children under the Affordable Care Act, for fear of deportation, USA Today reported. The undocumented immigrants who cannot participate in the new healthcare program must provide their information if they want to register their children.The ACA website quickly verifies each individual's identity via electronic records, and since most undocumented immigrants don't have these records, confirming their identities can take weeks, USA Today noted.
