LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Humana Military Healthcare Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), announces it is entering a two-year Mentor Protégé agreement with VERUS Government Solutions (VERUSGov) of Potomac, Maryland, to assist the company in expanding their General Services Administration (GSA) schedule offerings.
Humana Military will work collaboratively with VERUSGov to increase their capabilities in offering expanded services to government agencies that use the GSA Schedule for commercial acquisitions through the GSA Mentor Protégé Office. Humana Military’s mentoring efforts will provide technical and general business knowledge to their protégé firm.

It is intended to foster the establishment of long-term relationships between small businesses and GSA prime contractors, as well as the overall number of small businesses that receive GSA prime contract and subcontract awards.
