There is growing recognition among all stakeholders that the best solutions will be based on collaborative efforts that help individuals improve their overall health, and by choosing Healthways, the SHBP has made the choice to focus on well-being improvement. Our solution is a proven, science-based approach to improving not just physical health but also the social and emotional health of individuals. The evidence is clear that by improving well-being there is a corresponding result of reduced health-related costs, an improvement in individuals’ work related engagement and an improvement in organizational performance. In Georgia, we will be coordinating tightly with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and Express Scripts Inc. to integrate our solutions to provide a seamless member experience and improve member satisfaction.
