Commercial and Medicaid health plans in Arizona and California ranked by NCQA

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Health Net, Inc. (NYSE: HNT) commercial and Medicaid health plans again are among the highest-ranked plans in Arizona and California, according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA’s) Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2011-12.

Health Net highlights from the NCQA’s latest rankings:

  • Health Net of Arizona is the highest-ranked commercial health plan in Arizona, according to the NCQA’s Private Health Insurance Plan Rankings, 2011-12. It earned this distinction for the fifth straight year.
  • Health Net of California’s Medicaid plan (Medi-Cal) is the highest-ranked Medicaid plan in the state, according to the NCQA’s Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Rankings, 2011-12. This is the third consecutive year it has earned this distinction.
