Matrix Medical Network, a national leader in prospective medical assessment services for Medicare Advantage plan members, will host Thomas A. Scully, former CMS Administrator, and Thomas E. Hutchinson, former CMS executive, at its client Special Executive Networking Dinner on Monday, Sept. 10, at the Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C. The dinner is associated with the company’s sponsorship of and participation in the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Medicare Conference in Washington, D.C.

During the Matrix special executive client dinner, Scully, who was the Administrator of CMS from 2001 to 2003 under President George W. Bush, will provide insights into the state of Medicare and his thoughts about the future of the Medicare Advantage program. Scully is currently a senior counsel at Alston & Bird LLP, a law and lobbying firm, which focuses on health care regulatory and legislative matters, and a general partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, the private equity investment firm that owns Matrix, where he focuses on health care investments.

Matrix is a Select Partner Program Sponsor of the AHIP Medicare Conference, and the company is also sponsoring a breakfast program during the conference at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Capital Hilton.
