Enrollment in New 2013 Windsor Health Plan Medicare Advantage Plans Now Available

Medicare Advantage HMO plans offer new and improved benefits for beneficiaries in eight states

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Windsor Health Plan, Inc. announces 2013 Windsor Health Plan Medicare Advantage HMO plans and Windsor Rx PDP plans (stand-alone Part D prescription drug plans) are now available to 2.7 million Medicare beneficiaries across the country.  For many Medicare beneficiaries, the only time they can change to a new 2013 plan is now through December 7, 2012, and coverage will begin on January 1, 2013.

The health plan is also pleased to announce a new beneficiary initiative called Get It. Love It. Live It! The new campaign encourages members to 'Get' the care they need, 'Love' the benefits and service they get, and 'Live' their lives to the fullest.

For 2013, Windsor Health Plan Medicare Advantage plans are available in 297 counties across eight states to include Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee, as well as new states, Idaho, Montana and Virginia. Windsor Health Plan has several different plan options within its traditional Medicare Advantage product offerings, in addition to special needs plans (HMO SNP) for those beneficiaries with certain chronic conditions. Windsor Health Plan also offers its Comp Plus plan (HMO SNP) for beneficiaries who are dually eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.

Windsor Rx Part D prescription drug (PDP) plans are available in 21 states in 2013. These PDP plans are available throughout Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.
