Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia (BCBSGa) has been selected to provide benefits to Georgia’s 650,000 state employees and retirees through the Department of Community Health’s State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP). BCBSGa will be providing Third Party Administrative (TPA) services and Medical Management, to members beginning Jan. 1, 2014. SHBP provides coverage for state employees, teachers, school system employees and retirees.
