ZyXEL, MyGlucoHealth team to enhance digital diabetes management

ZyXEL Communications and Entra Health Systems plan to link Entra's MyGlucoHealth device, via Bluetooth, to ZyXEL's Smart Home Gateway, which can then transmit the glucose data to clinicians over cellular or Wi-Fi networks. "ZyXEL engineered the Smart Home Gateway to give patients the ability to upload data to the MyGlucoHealth Portal without the need for a mobile phone or Internet-connected computer," said Richard Strobridge, CEO of Entra Health, maker of MyGlucoHealth. "We see it as a one-button solution that simplifies and automates the upload process for the elderly or infirmed. ZyXEL has been a responsive partner bringing its combined expertise in development and customization to the successful integration of this device." Press release
