Visio Mobile Diagnostics, a mobile x-ray and cardiac diagnostic services company in Ohio, is employing CompuMed telemedicine and mobile EMR technology at hospitals, home-health agencies and long-term care facilities that it serves around the state. Los Angeles-based CompuMed is supplying CardioGram, a portable device to capture readings from 12-lead EKGs, then transmit data via mobile phone or Internet link to the company's lab for interpretation by both a computer algorithm and an on-call cardiologist.
