CVS launches Android app for drug information

Pharmacy chain CVS Caremark just added to its mHealth portfolio with a new Android app for medication management. Patients can use the app on their Android smartphones to look up medication information, check on refills, view prescription history and perform other med management tasks, CVS officials say. No word on whether they're looking to extend the functionality to Android tablets, or iPads, for that matter. Announcement
