Spacelabs Healthcare Awarded Novation Contract for Patient Monitoring & Connectivity Solutions

ISSAQUAH, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Spacelabs Healthcare, a leading innovator of patient monitoring and connectivity solutions, today announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract to provide its complete line of patient monitoring solutions to the VHA, UHC, and Provista members served by Novation, a leading healthcare supply contracting company. This new agreement begins Dec. 1, 2011, and has two one-year extension options.

Spacelabs Healthcare’s accurate, reliable, and easy-to-use patient monitoring and connectivity solutions offer fast access to comprehensive patient information when and where needed to support decisions which, in turn, can improve response time, advance patient care, and enhance patient safety. For instance, clinicians on the go can have complete access to patient information including near-live waveforms and graphical trends on their iPads or other mobile devices thanks to ICS Xprezz, Spacelabs Healthcare’s new mobile app for iPad.

“Novation has our ongoing commitment to provide innovative technologies that help improve efficiencies, increase profitability, and enhance patient outcomes for the members it serves,” said Nicholas Ong, President of Spacelabs Healthcare.
