Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is advancing health IT through integration of IT systems and use of data analytics, efforts that helped it to earn a reputation as a "Most Wired" health system.
At one of the Michigan-based health system's hospitals, St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, its Intelligent Care System connects eight technologies to a central hub and makes up the hospital's electronic health record, Fabian Fregoli, M.D., St. Joseph's chief medical information officer and vice president of Clinical Quality and Patient Safety, tells HealthITAnalytics.com.
