Renown Regional Medical Center Saves Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars with Everbridge Mass Notification

Renown Regional Medical Center has selected Everbridge, the leading provider of interactive communication and mass notification solutions, to provide a single unified mass communication platform for its facilities. Renown Regional, the region's only Level II trauma center, is now using Everbridge for communications across two hospitals, three emergency room centers, nine imaging centers and over 20 medical group urgent care centers.
After analyzing a system that included multiple costly third party vendors requiring timely, manual communication processes, Renown Regional officials decided a single, unified communications platform would better suit the hospitals’ and urgent care centers’ needs. As they were using the Everbridge platform for STEMI alerts already, it was a simple and cost effective measure to incorporate other hospital processes into the existing platform.
“We saved hundreds of thousands of dollars by switching to Everbridge as a single platform for our communications. Previously, there were a lot of errors in our process because our vendors were reliant upon very manual processes. We depend on Everbridge as a single solution for these needs,” said Christine Wells, director of outpatient imaging at Renown Regional.
