Prescriptions may soon be made using algorithms

Some trends set to come in healthcare will include the ability for health data to be autopopulated, prescriptions based on algorithms and big brands controlling precision medicine, according to Scanadu CEO Walter De Brouwer.

De Brouwer, speaking at a recent conference at the Scripps Translational Science Institute, says algorithms will cut down on face time with physicians for medical prescriptions, according to MedCity News.

He adds that he hopes someday to see a machine that can simply scan someone and get a picture of their health. Article
