, a leading Internet-based medical claims clearinghouse for physician practices, today announced that the company received a score of 93.9 out of 100 for clearinghouse services in the KLAS report. This score comes as Navicure announced continued record growth during the second quarter of 2012, during which time 386 new sites were added to the client base.

The KLAS report provides KLAS performance ratings that were gathered over a twelve-month period for healthcare IT software and services firms in 90 market segments. Navicure’s score represents a two percent increase from the company’s score six months ago, as well as an overall increase over the last three years.

“The recent transition to HIPAA 5010 has reminded providers how important it is to work with a partner who understands the value of great service and who can provide it,” said Jim Denny, founder, president and CEO of Navicure. “Before, during and after the 5010 transition, we maintained our 3-Ring Policy, answering all client support calls within three rings. Our score in the KLAS mid-year review is a reflection of this commitment to our clients. This commitment is also the reason for our continued growth.”

Some of the practices who selected Navicure during the second quarter include:

“Our previous clearinghouse lacked the reporting and revenue tracking tools we needed to ensure we had a healthy revenue cycle,” said Jodi Fitzsimmons, AVP, Revenue Cycle Management at McLeod Physician Associates. “Not only does Navicure provide these features, but the user interface makes these tasks even easier to ensure our claims are being processed correctly and timely.”

“While experiencing numerous 5010-related problems with our existing clearinghouse, we were attracted to the leadership of Navicure on the issue. Their promise of three-ring customer service and the ability to reach a person without filing case logs or problem reports seemed like it would have really expedited the fixes to our issues. We realized the importance of having a clearinghouse that was dedicated to personal customer service, especially when working with a large number of clients and high volumes of claims in this rapidly changing regulatory environment,” said Mark Edwards, Chief Information Officer at Kellison & Company. “We selected Navicure because they were prepared for the 5010 transition, have shown leadership on the upcoming ICD-10 transition, and promised personal and timely client service. We are looking forward to our partnership with Navicure and seeing our revenue cycle continue to strengthen.”
