™ today announced that its Micromedex® evidence-based resources now feature integration-ready functionality, allowing a seamless connection of patient data with a healthcare facility’s Electronic Medical Record (EHR) or Hospital Information System (HIS).
This new functionality allows clinicians caring for critically-ill neonates, infants and children — either at the bedside or from the pharmacy — to access evidence-based clinical decision support (CDS), calculate and create drug and parenteral nutrition orders, and interface with the facility’s computerized physician order entry (CPOE) system, all without leaving their workflow or the patient’s bedside.
