Life Sciences Industry Leverages Expertise of Veeva’s Jennifer Goldsmith

Veeva Systems’ Jennifer Goldsmith, vice president of Veeva Vault, has been appointed to the newly formed Healthcare IT Advisory Committee of Pennsylvania Bio (PA Bio). The mission of PA Bio is to ensure the state of Pennsylvania is a global leader in biosciences by creating a community that unites biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic, pharmaceutical research, and financial strengths. In her leadership role with the new committee, Goldsmith will help drive programs that educate member organizations on emerging IT topics, as well as foster technology innovation within the life sciences community. She joins committee members from Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Y-Prime, BioClinica, and other top technology companies.

Goldsmith has been active in the life sciences sphere for more than 15 years, working across the value chain from early R&D to commercial operations. She had the opportunity to implement some of the first regulatory submissions document management and publishing systems in the mid-1990s and has continued innovate R&D content management solutions as standards evolved to eCTD and other publication types. Goldsmith has also been recognized in the 100, a round-up of the 100 most inspirational leaders in life sciences.
