Karen DeSalvo steps down as chair of HIT Policy Committee

National Coordinator for Health IT Karen DeSalvo will no longer serve as chair of ONC's Health IT Policy Committee.

The announcement was made at Tuesday's joint meeting of the Health IT Policy and Health IT Standards Committees. In addition to her work at AMA, Blake is also executive director of the Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement, and is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
