LAKELAND, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Intelimedix, a leader in business intelligence for the healthcare insurance industry, today announced it tapped Michael A. Newman to lead the company’s latest initiative in healthcare informatics and expand its executive leadership team.

He joins the Intelimedix executive team as it focuses on helping health plans address healthcare affordability, cost containment, and improving quality of care in the emerging retail and traditional marketplaces.

“At BCBSF, Mike played a strategic role in the development of medical informatics infrastructure and analytical capabilities that enabled critical business processes.
