Healthcare communicators prefer YouTube over other social media channels

A new study in the Journal of Communication in Healthcare on social media use among healthcare communications professionals reveals that YouTube is the preferred medium over LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. The survey involved more than 100 people in the healthcare communications spectrum and produced surprising results, "especially given the historically conservative nature of the healthcare marketing community," according to a research announcement.
