Valence Health to Provide BPO Services through Expanded Partnership
Healthation Selected to Provide Core Administrative System for New Mexico Health Connections CO-OP

Healthation (attending AHIP Institute 2013, Booth #316 in Las Vegas), a leading provider of core administrative systems for legacy and emerging healthcare payers and administrators, will be used to support the operations of New Mexico Health Connections, one of the Consumer Operated and Oriented Plans (CO-OPs) established as result of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Valence Health, a long-standing Healthation client, will utilize the company’s core administrative platform and other solutions to support their value-based analytics and BPO services to CO-OPs. Together, Healthation and Valence Health deliver integrated solutions to CO-OPs and provider-sponsored health plans that are flexible, scalable, and address the complex challenges of the evolving post- healthcare reform marketplace.

Per its funding regulations, New Mexico Health Connections, like all CO-OPs, needs to be ready to serve members by October 1, 2013, and needs to be able to process claims by January 1, 2014. “Despite the incredibly challenging timeframe to help support this start-up insurer, we were confident given our long history of using the Healthation platform and the working partnership we have with their team,” said Todd Stockard, President of Valence Health. “Healthation provides us with a flexible, practical platform that can help us meet our clients’ needs both today and in the future.
