Universal adoption of electronic health records and decision-support services are among five priorities imperative to successful accountable care organizations, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center CIO John Halamka says in a recent blog post. Regarding the latter, Halamka thinks that all members of a care team should have "decision support inside their electronic record based on enterprise set rules."
