New Apple iPad Application Frees Doctors from Their Desktops, Allows Wireless Access to Centricity Advance
BARRINGTON, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GE Healthcare today announced the release of Centricity* Advance – Mobile, a native Apple iPad® application, designed for primary care physicians in small practices. With Centricity Advance - Mobile, clinicians utilizing GE Healthcare’s Centricity Advance, a complete web-based EMR and practice management system, won’t be tethered to their desktops. As Centricity Advance customers, they can walk with their iPad® wherever they like while continuing to interact with the patient and the patient record.
Centricity Advance - Mobile phases out cumbersome paper note-taking when physicians are away from their computers, allowing them to enter information in a way to which they’re accustomed. It also provides true anytime, anywhere access to the information they need, formatted for the device they’re viewing it on. Centricity Advance - Mobile unleashes the power of mobility and turns the iPad into a fully untethered digital “notepad” that the clinician can use when completing summary notes.
