Medical engineer Yoav Kimchy created the pill, which has a small sensor inside it that works like an X-ray machine, according to Quartz. When the pill is swallowed, it emits signals, which allow it to map the inside of the colon and then send that data to a wireless patch on the patient's skin. Article
