BroadcastMed Inc., is proud to highlight from Baptist Health South Florida’s Center for Robotic Surgery.

The webcast scheduled for today will be as follows:

Viewers will able to watch both procedures from first incision to closure. The surgeries will highlight the technique of operating through one small incision in the belly button with the help of a robotic system. The advanced robotic technique means patients have no visible scar and a quicker recovery. “Gallbladder surgery and hysterectomy are two of the most common surgeries middle-age women undergo,” Dr. Estape said, “The robotic, single-incision approach has far better cosmetic results over the traditional approach of operating through larger openings.”

Viewers can submit questions online and @BaptistHealthSF on Twitter during the live broadcast, and the experts will provide answers in real time.
