Accenture Selected to Implement New Human Services Eligibility System for State of Iowa

(NYSE: ACN) has been selected by the State of Iowa following a competitive bid process to replace its 35-year-old human services eligibility system. The contract has a six-year base period that runs to 2018, with four one-year extension options.
Accenture will implement the of products from Accenture Software to support the state’s efforts to meet upcoming federal guidelines, improve customer services, reduce technology costs and integrate eligibility processes across a number of human service and health programs.
