Chutes & Ladders—UNC Health hospital CEO steps down; Tulane executive heads to HCA hospital

UNC Rockingham Healthcare

Dana M. Weston stepped down from her role as president and CEO of UNC Rockingham Health Care. 

Local media reported that Weston cited "personal reasons" for her departure.

Tonya Brown

Weston first took leadership of the hospital formerly known as Morehead Memorial Hospital in 2015 and oversaw its transition into the UNC Health Care System in 2018.

Local media reported that Tonya Brown, who is chief financial officer, was named chief operating officer. 

Officials said they plan to begin an immediate national search for her replacement. 

 


Faraaz Yousuf

Bon Secours

Faraaz Yousuf was named Richmond market president for Bon Secours, part of Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Yousuf will take on the role starting in December. He will report to Brian White, Bon Secours Mercy Health Atlantic Group president. Yousuf joined Bon Secours Mercy Health in July as chief strategy officer of the Atlantic Group, responsible for all strategic planning across a five-state geography, including Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, New York and Maryland.

In his new role, he will oversee all Richmond market operations. Most recently, Yousuf served as president and senior vice president of LifeBridge Health, a $1.8 billion Maryland-based health system. He also formerly held chief operating officer roles with Sutter Health and Hospital Corporation of America.


Regina Ramazani

Swedish Medical Center

Regina Ramazani was named chief financial officer of Swedish Medical Center. She will begin the role in early December.

Ramazani most recently served as the chief financial officer at HCA Healthcare’s Tulane Health System, where she provided financial oversight for the system’s three hospitals and more than 33 clinics. She has also formerly served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Swedish Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 408 licensed beds that is part of HCA Healthcare’s HealthONE network in the south metro Denver area.


Centene Corporation announced that retired U.S. Air Force General Lori J. Robinson was elected to serve on the company's board of directors.

> Lutheran Health Network named Brady Dubois the new CEO of the group’s Lutheran Hospital in northeast Indiana.

> Lorraine Lutton, the CEO of Roper St. Francis in Charleston, is leaving for a new role after the health system announced an ownership shakeup, the Post and Courier reported.
