Wolters Kluwer Health Unveils Facts & Comparisons eAnswers Drug Information Reference

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that it has relaunched its flagship drug information reference as Facts & Comparisons® eAnswers.

"The new name better describes our ability to meet the expectations of our customers by providing drug information and answers in multiple electronic formats," said Arvind Subramanian, President and CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions. "While the name has changed, our commitment to providing trusted clinical content and comparative data has not. Facts & Comparisons continues to be the industry's leading drug information resource."

Facts & Comparisons eAnswers, formerly known as Facts & Comparisons 4.0, provides retail pharmacies and academia with online access to the most up-to-date drug information and medication management tools tailored to their unique needs, enabling better therapeutic decisions in less time. For hospital pharmacies, it addresses the key pain points of workflow efficiency and patient safety by providing the tools and information needed to support drug dispensing activities.

In addition to the new name, Wolters Kluwer Health also unveiled a number of enhancements to Facts & Comparisons that are designed to improve the overall user experience. For example, an expanded reference menu now includes Immunization Schedules, Chemotherapy Resources and Interaction Resources headings. Patient Handout secondary links have also been expanded and secondary menus for Toxicology Guidelines and 5-Minute Clinical Consult have been added.

The Monograph page has been redesigned to include more secondary menus and direct links to enhance navigation within and between full monographs, subsections, summaries and off-label indications. Finally, the "Patient Handouts" section has expanded to include both Medication Guides and Medfacts Patient Handouts, as well as any linked Healthwise handouts if the user has an active subscription.

Other changes include enhanced search capabilities; improved Clinical Calculator navigation and additional content; and integration of Cancer Chemotherapy Manual content.
