Vention Medical announced today its acquisition of Fast Forward Medical, a market leading supplier of complex braided catheter shafts and catheter technologies for minimally invasive medical devices.
With the acquisition of Fast Forward, Vention continues to expand its expertise and extensive portfolio of advanced component technologies for the development and manufacture of catheter-based devices. Fast Forward’s breadth of experience in catheter technologies and strategic location in the Minneapolis, Minn. area will further enhance Vention’s current offerings, which include medical balloons, catheters, multi-layer extrusions, heat shrink tubing, polyimide and micro-tubing for a variety of catheter assemblies and minimally invasive medical devices.
