SunLink Names A. Ronald Turner to Additional Role of Chief Development Officer

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SunLink Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE Amex Equities: SSY) today announced that Ron Turner, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has been named to the additional role of Chief Development Officer. In his additional role, Mr. Turner will be responsible for the management of in-market growth and expansion opportunities, including the development of new services and the expansion of the company’s existing hospitals to better align them for future healthcare delivery. His new responsibilities will also encompass the acquisition of additional community hospitals and development of innovative partnerships with hospitals, physicians and other stakeholders. Mr. Turner will retain his role as Chief Operating Officer responsible for the operations of the company’s six existing hospitals, three nursing homes and a home health agency.
