Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Complete New Health Plan Agreement with Anthem Blue Cro

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital today announced the completion of a new health insurance provider agreement with Anthem Blue Cross, effective Sept. 1, 2011. Stanford Hospital, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, the faculty physicians at both hospitals, and the Menlo Clinic are once again in-network providers for all patients insured by Anthem Blue Cross.

With the new three-year agreement, the hospitals and Anthem Blue Cross were able to mutually agree on reimbursement rates and contract language relevant to today’s health care environment.
