ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- St. Mark’s Medical Center recently announced that McKesson’s market-leading Horizon Medical ImagingTM picture archiving communications system (PACS) will replace its aging legacy medical imaging solution. In addition to streamlining workflow, the community hospital in LaGrange, Texas, expects to increase inter-departmental collaboration and enhance radiologists’ productivity while reducing overall departmental costs. Horizon Medical Imaging creates a fully-integrated environment to help providers analyze and archive medical images and diagnostic reports, making them available across the enterprise. Hospital executives look forward to optimizing efficiency and reducing regulatory risk by using Horizon Medical Imaging with McKesson’s Paragon® hospital information system.
