(APC), the second largest provider of cardiovascular perfusion and autotransfusion services in the US.
SpecialtyCare has seen significant growth over the past 4 years and this announcement comes only days after American Securities, a New York-based private equity firm, announced its investment in SpecialtyCare. With the addition of APC, SpecialtyCare serves more than 545 hospitals. Its clinicians provide perfusion services to over 180 open heart surgery programs and support one out of every ten open heart cases in the US.
