SAAS and Qualifacts Announce Exclusive EHR Partnership

Addiction services member agencies to receive special pricing

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS) and Qualifacts Systems Inc., announced today at the SAAS National Conference in Boston, Mass., that they have entered into an exclusive partnership to offer Qualifacts’ Software-as-a-Service electronic health records to the SAAS member agencies. This partnership will provide members the opportunity to pursue proven EHR technology in order to take advantage of Meaningful Use incentives and comply with health information technology initiatives.

“We evaluated many EHR vendors in the industry and felt Qualifacts’ tremendous growth, leadership and culture were a clear fit for our members,” says Becky Vaughn, CEO of SAAS. “Moreover, their Software-as-a-Service model gives our members the most flexibility in this period of rapid change.”

Member agencies received a sneak peek of the partnership program, which includes a special pricing arrangement, at a webinar in late June.

“We are incredibly excited by this partnership and the opportunity to meet the members at the conference and continue the conversations we began during the introductory webinar,” says Jason Medlin, vice president of sales for Qualifacts. “We look forward to creating the long-term relationships that will ensure the agencies’ continued EHR success.”
