RedBrick Health Adds Three Technology Industry Veterans, Launches Health Management Innovation Lab

Key hires bring talent in scalable technology architecture and operations, mobile and social application development, and professional service operations

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RedBrick Health, an emerging leader in consumer health engagement technology, announced today it has added three new senior technologists to its leadership team. Gal Bar-or joins as chief technology officer, Mike Milkovich as vice president of product development, and John Page as vice president for client operations and professional services. Page, Milkovich and Bar-or join other RedBrick new hires as the company doubles its staff in response to 600% growth in lives served over the past 24 months.

 

Bar-or and Milkovich join RedBrick executives and industry veterans Jeff Dobro, chief medical officer and Eric Zimmerman, chief marketing officer, in forming RedBrick's Health Management Innovation Lab. The lab, occupying expanded space within RedBrick's Minneapolis headquarters location, houses a team of technology, consumer experience, and health improvement experts focused on rapid development and testing of new models of health engagement, behavior design, and coaching. Page is overseeing the build-out of RedBrick's next-generation health coaching center, incorporating the lab's new innovations.

Bar-or, who oversees RedBrick's technology architecture and product development team, is a serial entrepreneur and an expert in application architecture, data correlation, and machine learning. He founded and led technology development at SiteRock/Capital Technologies, Foglight Software, Useful Chemistry and others after spending time early in his career developing advanced financial trading systems under Fisher Black.

 

Milkovich, who oversees RedBrick's software engineering team, previously founded and served as CTO for Warecorp, a technology development firm, and as CTO at Zanby, an open source social collaboration platform. He held previous leadership and key positions at Connect, Firepond and Hewlett Packard.

 

Page, who runs RedBrick's client operations and professional services teams, brings extensive operational and professional services management experience from executive assignments at IBM, Nervewire, Stellent where he served as senior vice president for services and support, and healthcare informatics firm Ingenix, where he served as senior vice president, professional services.
