REACH Health Hires Gene Guertin as Chief Technology Officer

An expert in the field of Healthcare Information Technology, Gene has held leadership positions at technology companies providing strategic solutions for the healthcare community. For the past eleven years he has been with HealthPort Technologies, LLC having served as both Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer.
The addition of Mr. Guertin to REACH’s technical team accelerates the company’s momentum as the leader in clinically based telemedicine technology solutions. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Gene will continue to build and guide REACH Health’s team of advanced telemedicine software developers and engineers. Mr. Guertin is a seasoned business executive who combines innovative strategies with practical execution. His experience and expertise includes the transfer of technology from development phases to commercialization.

Prior to joining REACH Health, Gene Guertin served as Chief Information Officer at HealthPort, the nation’s largest provider of release of information services and audit management and tracking technology. Prior to his tenure at HealthPort, Gene held executive and senior management positions with several software development companies. Mr. Guertin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environment Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Frostburg State University. Mr. Guertin received CIO Decisions magazine CIO Leadership award in 2006 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.
