WHAT:
The Philips CX50 POC, a new point of care configuration for Philips' compact and highly portable CX50 ultrasound system, is now available.
WHY:
Designed for use in point-of-care settings (bringing the ultrasound to the patient, not the patient to ultrasound), the CX50 POC can provide reliable information to clinicians during ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided pain management. The technology can also be applied in critical/intensive care and emergency care settings.
