MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Personalized Medicine World Conference (PMWC) 2012 — The Personalized Medicine World Conference, PMWC 2012, to be held on January 23-24 in Silicon Valley, is a two-day business and educational conference that provides real-world insights on how to succeed in producing and implementing Personalized Medicine. PMWC 2012 is co-hosted by Stanford Hospital & Clinics.
PMWC 2012 is the only fully integrated conference to examine through a practical lens the advances and challenges facing Personalized Medicine. Brian Druker, MD, whose work and persistence resulted in Gleevec as one of the first triumphs of Personalized Medicine, will be honored.

Ralph Snyderman, MD, James B. Duke Professor of Medicine in the Duke University School of Medicine, will chair “Into the Clinic.” Speakers in the session will share their experience in developing and practicing Personalized Medicine when lives hang in the balance.
